About

My name is Kisane and I love plants.

I love looking at them, talking about them, touching them, smelling them, eating them and now writing about them.

I’ve worked in Horticulture for about 15 years now, 9 years of which I was busy managing a retail nursery within a landscaping centre in Byron Bay, Australia.

I also have an interest in landscape design as I have been fortunate to work as a horticultural consultant with some talented local landscapers and builders to create some really special gardens.

I’m taking a break this year to travel the world to see what I’ve been missing while I’ve been busy working. I plan to try to photograph and profile plants & gardens along the way.
